The Public Health
Department has prepared a draft Agreement, which differs slightly from
the 1989 Agreement. The dra ft 1990 Agreement is similar to the 1989
Agreement with the following exceptions:
l. The 1989 Agreement requires an annual report to be due by March 1, .
1989. The 1990 Agreement changes this requirement to two reports;
one due July 15, 1990 and one due February 15, 1991. This change is
due to additional State and Metropolitan Council reports that Ramsey
County is required to submit.
2. The draft 1990 Agreement contains a new attachment, Attachment B,
which is the Semi-Annual Report Form. The following information is
required for 1990 reports:
a) Recycling contractor's name, address and contact person;
b) Number of households served:
0) Changes in the progra.m;
d) Descriptions of public education activities:
e) Program costs:
f) The tonnage of materials collected by the curbside program
listed by material;
g) Tonnage received at recycling drop-off centers in your city;
h) Tonnage recycled from single-family homes and duplex routes
reported separately from mUlti-family housing routes.
These items are being required in order for Ramsey County to
complete reports required by the Metropolitan Council and Office of
Waste Management. The County will provide forms for the city to
complete.
.
