While this may cause some changes in contractor's reporting to the city, this information is critical in assessing public education needs. 3. The draft 1990 Agreement provides that Ramsey County will reimburse ci ties for expenses incurred for processing of unmarketable materials at a resource recovery facility and/or landfilling of these materials. Ramsey County will reimburse a City if: a) the City notifies the County and receives County permission before authorizing delivery to a resource recovery facility or landfill. b) the city submits contractor's invoices from the facility(s) used for processing or landfilling; and c) the City submits documentation from it's recycling contractor that efforts to secure long term markets have been made by the contractor and that efforts to avoid future processing and/or landfilling will be made. The Public Health Department will bring the Agreement to the County Board for consideration in late February. Once the County Board has .approved the Agreement, we will send it to you for your signature.
