(3-0) <br /> RECYCLING DAY Council was referred to a memorandum from the Clerk <br /> CHANGE; EVERY Administrator dated 4-5-90, recommending a change <br /> WEDNESDAY in the recyclin;)' day from Tuesday, biweekly, to <br /> Wednesday on a weekly J::asis. <br /> Berger explained his initial =ncerns regardin;)' the prop::>sed recyclin;)' day change <br /> and reviewed the rationale offered by E-Z Recyclin;)' for improved service due to <br /> the day change and a weekly =llection schedule. <br /> Council =ncurred the weekly =llection schedule is very appealin;)' and suggested <br /> that staff IrBke a strong effort to promote the change and notify residents. <br /> . Malone moved, seconded by Mahowald, to approve the change <br /> in the recyclin;)' days and amend the current =ntract with E-Z Recyclin;)' to <br /> reflect the change beginnin;)' the first Wednesday in May and to =ntinue every <br /> Wednesday thereafter, and that the current contract with E-Z Recyclin;)' be <br /> forwarded to the city AttoD1ey for preparation of the contract amendment.
