Approve of Resolution No. 90-22, Requesting Cancellation of Future Taxes <br /> and Balance of Special Assessments on Parcels B & C, HaInline Avenue/Hwy 96. <br /> e. (5-0) <br /> PUBLIC C'CM1ENTS <br /> REl';2. srnEEr LIGHI'; Council heard a request from Frank Dolinar, 1435 Arden <br /> 1435 ARDEN OAKS DR. Oaks Drive, regarding proposed street lights on Arden <br /> FRANK OOLINAR Oaks Drive and Arden Oaks Court. <br /> Dolinar explained he previously appeared before Council and it was suggested the <br /> residents in the area provide a proposal for street lighting and return to <br /> discuss this mtter. He presented a diagram which identified existing street <br /> lights, the second phase lights proposed for installation and a third phase of <br /> lighting proposed by residents in this area. <br /> Dolinar noted the residents have discussed installation of some type of <br /> decorative lighting and are aware of the fact an assessment my be necessary if <br /> decorative lighting is installed. <br /> Councilrnernber Hansen advised the second phase lights are not scheduled for <br /> installation and will be considered by Council upon request by residents. She <br /> explained the street lights to be installed are standard lights, not decorative, <br /> and must be attached to light poles. <br /> Hansen noted there are no light poles in this area and in previous discussions <br /> with residents of Arden Oaks Drive it was indicated that some residents did not <br /> ~ want light poles in their yards. She suggested the neighbors could fom an <br /> ass=iation, install the decorative lights and assume the costs of installation <br /> and operation. <br />
