(5-0) mNSENT Malone JOC)ved, seconded by Hansen, to approve the Consent CALENDAR Calendar for the April 30 meeting and authorize execution of all necessary documents contained therein: a. Approve 1990 summer Park & Recreation staff. b. Aclmowledgment of "Flower Power" and Fall Festival Information. c. Approve of Lexington Avenue Improvements Agreement. d. Approve of Resolution No. 90-22, Requesting Cancellation of Future Taxes and Balance of Special Assessments on Parcels B & C, HaInline Avenue/Hwy 96. e. Approve List of Clalins and Payroll. ~ Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) PUBLIC C'CM1ENTS REl';2. srnEEr LIGHI'; Council heard a request from Frank Dolinar, 1435 Arden 1435 ARDEN OAKS DR. Oaks Drive, regarding proposed street lights on Arden FRANK OOLINAR Oaks Drive and Arden Oaks Court. Dolinar explained he previously appeared before Council and it was suggested the residents in the area provide a proposal for street lighting and return to discuss this mtter. He presented a diagram which identified existing street lights, the second phase lights proposed for installation and a third phase of lighting proposed by residents in this area. Dolinar noted the residents have discussed installation of some type of decorative lighting and are aware of the fact an assessment my be necessary if decorative lighting is installed. Councilrnernber Hansen advised the second phase lights are not scheduled for installation and will be considered by Council upon request by residents. She explained the street lights to be installed are standard lights, not decorative, and must be attached to light poles. Hansen noted there are no light poles in this area and in previous discussions with residents of Arden Oaks Drive it was indicated that some residents did not ~ want light poles in their yards. She suggested the neighbors could fom an ass=iation, install the decorative lights and assume the costs of installation and operation.
