Y TO
ATTENTION OF
May 3, 1990
Badger Area - Twin Cities Resident Office
-
Ronorable Tom Sather
Mayor of Arden Rills
ATTN: Gary Berger, City Administrator
- 1450 West Righway 96
Arden Hills, MN 55112
Dear Mayor:
The purpose of this letter is to officially request your approval to
arrange for fire and police protection for the construction site of the
800 Member U. S. Army Reserve Center of Arden Hills while it is under
construction.
. This request is for the period of construction only, since it is the
responsibility of the U.S. Army Reserve itself, to arrange for similar
protection after the project is complete, and the buildings become occupied.
Therefore, the period of protection being requested is from the present
time and up through the expected completion date of February 25, 1992. It is
entirely possible that the project could be completed ahead of this date, or
due to construction delays it may go beyond. In any case, you would be kept
advised of the expected date of completion.
The extent of the protective services needed would include, but is not
limited to the following services:
a. Police Protection
1. Provide periodic property surveillance
2. Theft and vandalism investigation
3. Vehicular accident investigation
4. Detection and apprehension of violators of Federal Law
b. Fire Protection
1. Provide 24 Hour fire protection/fire fighting services for the
entire 800 Member USARC property.
2. Perform fire inspections as appropriate for a construction site.
-
.
