.
Badger Area - Twin Cities Resident Office .
The property requiring protection is the area at the northwest quadrant
of the intersection of State Highway 96 and Lexington Avenue and consists
of approximately 22 acres. The project consists of the construction of
three buildings of single story masonry construction. A set of contract drawings
and specifications can be provided for further analysis of the project details.
Access to the project from Lexington Avenue will be established after the
new fence is installed to isolate the USARC property from Twin Cities Army
Ammunition Plant property. This should be accomplished by May 14, 1990. The
contractor, Knutson Construction Company, plans to install a temporary gate
at this new access road to secure the property during non-working hours. The
existing perimeter fence along Lexington and Righway 96 will remain in place
during most of the construction, but it will be removed near the end of the
project schedule.
Please advise this office of your decision regarding the services requested.
In so doing, please indicate any appropriate cost reimbursement required for
providing the services, as well as any other related agreements or actions
that would have to be implemented.
If you have any questions or desire additional information, please
contact the undersigned as soon as possible. Any concerted effort to expedite
the review and decision making process would be greatly appreciated. .
Sincerely,
~!s~
Acting Resident Engineer
.
