3
f .1
INTRODUCTION
.
The City of Arden Hills is interested in conducting a survey of residents. The
purpose of the survey is to obtain information from residents concerning their
perceptions of the need for a new City Hall as well as information about City services,
improvements desired In these services, information about streets and parks, and
residents' views about the City of Arden Hills in general.
The proposed research will be conducted by an independent market research
firm working closely with City representatives. Anderson, Niebuhr & Associates, Inc., a
Twin Cities based market research firm, was contacted by the City of Arden Hilis and
was subsequently asked to submit a proposai to conduct the project. This proposal is
in response to that request and contains the following sections:
. A description of the project's purpose;
. . The qualifications of Anderson, Niebuhr & Associates, Inc.;
. The proposed research method for designing, implementing, and
completing the survey of Arden Hills residents;
. Information pertaining to our quality control procedures and storage of
documentation; and
. The time and cost for conducting the study.
We believe the best research projects are conducted by working closely with our
clients. Therefore, we are committed to maintaining close contact throughout the
project with City representatives. In addition, we are willing to discuss alterations to our
proposed research methodology if changes are desired,
.
