<br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br />. ================================================================= <br /> DATE: July 25, 1990 <br /> TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> FROM: Dan Winkel, Public Works supervisor <br /> SUBJECT: Hiring of Part-Time Help <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> Due to the extra workload that was created by the severe <br /> thunderstorm on July 8, 1990, it became necessary for Parks <br /> Director Buckley and I to hire additional temporary part-time <br /> help to assist with branch and debris clean-up. The hours <br /> worked by these people will vary depending on availability. <br /> Joe Mauricio, Jr. , was hired and could work only two full days. <br /> Dan Engelbretson started on Thursday, July 19, and will work <br /> until all of the brush has been picked up, possibly the end of <br /> this week or early next week. Kevin Thomas will start on <br /> Monday, July 30, and work with the Parks Department for up to a <br /> month, or until they can catch up on some of the work that has <br />. been left undone due to the storm. <br /> It sLould be noted that all three of these people wi1l be paid <br /> $5.00 per hour. <br /> If Council has any questions, please feel free to contact either <br /> me or Parks Director Buckley. <br /> ACTION REQUIRED: <br /> This is submitted for your information and approval.
