He explained that Engineer Peters from SEH is checking into the problem and will report on the matter. Berger stated the City'S contractor will be responsible for costs associated with the settlement problems. Malone moved, seconded by Growe, that Council authorize the payment to Dr. Albjerg in the amount of $2,065.00, f= driveway restoration work perfo:rmed by his contractor in conjunction with the recent eity :inprovement on Oak Avenue. Administrator dated 7-31-90, recommending appointment <XMlISSION of volunteers to serve on the Economic Development Commission. Mayor Sather recorrunended appointment of the seven (7) Wividuals listed in Berger's report; noted this will be an Ad Hoc Commission. Mahowald moved, seconded by Malone, to ratify May= Sather's appointments to the Ad Hoc Economic Development Commission, as listed in the 7-31-90 report of Clerk Administrator Berger. (5-0) DRAFT CITIZEN Council was referred to the meroc>randum from Clerk SURVEY Administrator Berger dated 8-9-90, regarding the '1 draft citizen survey prepared by Decision Resources. Bill Morris, Decision Resources, was present to review the draft document with Council and answer any questions. Council recorrunended several changes in the document and requested Morris amend the document for inclusion on the August 27 RegUlar Council agenda. Council requested staff prepare a news release for publication in the Tc1Nn Crier and on the Cable 'IV channel advising residents of the upcoI1li.n;J survey and requesting citizen cooperation. RmUESI' FINAL Council was referred to a report from the Clerk PAYMENT; Administrator dated 8-10-90, relative to the request BERGERSON--cASWELL, for final payment from Bergerson Caswell, Inc., in REM MILLING SITE conjunction with work perfonned at the Kem Milling site. Council.member Malone and Mayor Sather recalled Bergerson Caswell agreed to bill the City on a "time and materials" basis for the entire project; requested ti1Tle and materials information be forwarded to Council prior to payment of final statement. Clerk Administrator Berger recalled Bergerson caswell agreement to bill on a ti1Tle and materials basis if the amount was under the bid amount. Council directed staff to request a ti1Tle and materials document from Bergerson . caswell relative to work perfo:rmed at the Kem Milling site, prior to approval of final payment.
