<br /> --------- <br /> When defennent of the special assessment has been granted and is terminated for <br /> any reason provided in that law, the amounts accumulated plus applicable interest <br /> become due. Any assessed property owner meeting the requirements of this law and . <br /> the resolution adopted under it may, within 30 days of the =nfinnation of the <br /> assessment, or upon reaching the age to become eligible for the defennent, apply <br /> to the Clerk Administrator on the pres=ibed form for such deferral of payment of <br /> this special assessment on his property. <br /> The option to defer the payment of special assessments shall terminate and all <br /> amounts accumulated, plus applicable interest, shall become due on the =ence <br /> of any of the following events: (a) the death of the owner, provided that the <br /> spouse is otherwise not eligible for the benefits hereunder; (b) the sale, <br /> transfer, or subdivision of the property or any part thereof; (c) if the property <br /> should, for any reason, lose its homestead status; or (d) if, for any reason, the <br /> taxing authority deferring the payments shall determine that there would be no <br /> hardship to require :immediate or partial payment. <br /> City staff in pre~ing the proposed assessment roll, have calculated the amount <br /> to be assessed against your property as follows: <br /> Property Identification No. Amount of Assessment <br /> Dated this 3rd day of August, 1990. <br /> ~.~~ . <br /> Clerk Administrator <br /> . <br /> ----- <br />
