Absent: Councilmernber JaAnn Growe. Also present: Attorney Jerry Filla, Planner John Bergly, Park Director John Buckley, Public Works SUpervisor Dan Winkel, Clerk Administrator Gary Berger an:i Deputy Clerk Catherine rago. AIX>PI' Maho;vald moved, seconded by Malone, to adopt the AGENDA September 10 Council Agenda as suhnitted. Motion =ied unanlinousl y. (4-0) <XJNSENT Councilmernber Malone reminded staff that written CALENDAR notice to Decision Resource is necessary prior to release of the citizen survey results for public information, as per Section N. of the contract. Hansen moved, seconded by Maho;vald, to adopt the Consent as suhnitted an:i authorize execution of all necessary d=uments contained therein: . a. Approve Request for Action on Planning Case #90-11, on October 8 rather than September 24, SUP for House of Worship. b. Accept Park dedication for Case No. 90-10 Meyer/Medlin Lot Division. c. Approve citizen Survey Contract. d. Approve Fall Clean-up Expenditure. e. Approve Final Payment to HRS Construction for Work at Kern Milling site. f. Approve List of Claims an:i Payroll. Motion =ied unanlinously. (4-0) PUBLIC C'CM1ENTS None. IMPLEMENTATION; Council was referred to a report from Clerk Administrator GATfJilAY BUSINESS Berger dated 9-5-90, relative to ilnplementation of the DISI'RIcr Gateway Business District. Berger advised three actions are required to accomplish the ilnplementation an:i outlined the necessary procedures. Planner John Bergly an:i Attorney Filla were present to answer any questions on this mtter. Council an:i staff consultants discussed upjating the City Comprehensive Plan. . Planner Bergly advised a systems statement is received on an annual basis an:i the city responds to areas outlined for nNiew. Attorney Filla pointed out that changes in the Comprehensive Plan which will occur due to of the ilnplementation of the GB District an:i the proposed Iexington Avenue District will effectively accomplish a substantial portion of the Plan upjate. He noted the plan is revised on a routine basis at 10 year intervals, basically due to the availability of new data.
