Building Inspector Clay Kelley. <br /> , <br /> Approva I of Mi mites <br /> The minutes of the regular council meeting of October II, 1965, were approved <br /> as amended. The minutes of the special meeting of October 18, 1965 were approved <br /> as submitted. <br /> Control Data COrporation - Request for Boller Plant) <br /> Plans and specifications for a boiler plant addition to Control Data Corporation <br /> were presented.to Council for approval. Building Inspector Clay Kelley had prevl.ously <br /> Inspected these plans and stated they are In order subject to a registered archi- <br /> tect's stamp, as required by ordinance. Nethercut moved the plans be approved and <br /> the building Inspector be authorized to Issue the permit. Seconded by Olmen. Carried. <br /> Two sets of plans and specifications were retained by the administrative clerk. <br /> Don Wilsey - Request for variance to Well Ordinance <br /> : Mr. Don W II sey requested a poss I b I e we I I depth 0.' 60' to 65 I rather than the 100' <br /> , mlrnlmum depth he was told our ordinance prescribed. Councl I informed Mr. Wilsey <br /> that the ordinance was for the protection of the well owner and dId not require a <br /> minimum depth except to provide a sufficient supply of water. Mr. WI isey was re- <br /> quested to comply with the ordinance and was given a copy of the \"ell or<lJlnance, <br /> which he will return to the clerk after copying. <br /> RePORT OF ATTORNEY COURTNEY <br /> Proposed Dedication of Fernwood Avenue <br /> Attorney Courtney advised that the drainage requirements for the completion of <br /> Fernwood Avenue, according to Village specifications, have not been completed. <br /> He stated that Control Data Indicated their willingness to complete these draina9'3 <br /> requirements, and he recommended that the Village defer further action to accept <br /> dedication of the road until the road Is completed. Mr. Courtney will obtain <br /> the abstract and hold It until he Is notified by either the engineer or council <br /> that the work Is completed, before examining it. The work should be completed by the <br /> end of November If dedication Is to be accomplished this year. <br /> Red Fox Road Improvement <br /> Mr. Courtney advised he had not determined whether the petition for improvement <br /> of Red Fox Road, f~om Lexington Avenue to Hamllne Ave., Included the necessary <br /> . 35% of owners' signatures. He has ordered an ownership repori-, but has not received <br /> . It as yet. Courtney suggested he hold the resolution until thIs report is re- <br /> ceived from the abstract company, before submitting It for Council approval. <br /> Land Acquisition for Recreational Purposes - Husby Property <br /> Attorney Courtney prepared an earnest money contract. submitting 2 copies to . <br /> Dr. BJorndahl and I copy to admInIstratIve clerk Stromquist. He advised counel i <br /> that the 8llIO!Jnt of Interest to be paId should be determined, what assessments wit J <br /> be assumed by the Village, and what taxes the VIllage will be obligated to pay. <br /> Council authorized Dr. BJorndahl to procede wIth the acqulsltlon. <br /> -1- <br />
