Township <br />30 North, Hsnge 23, lying westerly of the <br />right of way line of Interstate Route <br />35W, northerly of 8TH No. 96, easterly <br />of STH No.8,' and southerly of a line <br />parallel to the north line of said south~ <br />west quarter of the southwest quarter of <br />Section 10, and 860 ft. south of said <br />north line. all in Ramsey County, <br />Minnesotan <br /> <br />subject to 'Ghe limitations as recommended by the Plenning Conuuission, <br />which requires a 60 ft. setback. stot10n to be constl~cted as per <br />plans as presented at the july 6 Planning Commission mee.ting. that <br />two signs be allowed as described = neither sign to be ~ more th~n <br />25 ft. in height, that a screening fence at least 6.ft. high be <br />constructed8 lights not to shine on residential areas or directly <br />into the traffic flow; seconded by Trustee OlmenD motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy declared the hear:!. nt closed. <br /> <br />The Phillips ~etroleum Co. representative submitted plans wnich <br />were referred to Trustee Nethercut. <br /> <br />The preparation of the required ordinance relative to this rezoning <br />action was referred to Atty. courtney. <br /> <br />Request for Trailer Habitation <br />Warren Hanson requested permission to sleep 1n a vacation trailer <br />to be located on his recently purchased p:roperty at 3191 North <br />Lexington Avenue while he is remodeling the existing house; other <br />facilities are usable in this house. He explained that due to the <br />delay in the sale transaction because of the seller living ou'j; <br />of state, he was not. able to finalize the sale on July 1 as planned. <br />He stated that he is in the construction business .9.nd would have <br />this house remodeled in 60 days. <br /> <br />Trustee Olmen moved. seconded by Trustee Crepeau. that permission <br />be granted due to hardship to allow 1ir. Hanson to use the traile"' <br />on the premises through Octobar; motion car:ried. <br /> <br />Twin City Trailer Park <br />Mr. Fred Kosslak, owner of the Twin City Trailer Park on View Ave. <br />appeared and explained to the Council that due tc ill hf'aJ.th he has <br />his trailer park for sale, but informed the Council that he is <br />unable to sell the park without permission from the Council to en~ <br />large the areB to accommodate at least 50 more trailers. and would <br />also like to request the Village to vacate View Avenue as it is no <br />longer needed by the Village", <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy explained that permission had been granted five years <br />ago to enlarge the park8 but construction of the freeway made the <br />planunfeesible. Mayor read an excerpt from the minutes of that <br />meeting and also of tne publiC hearing held. <br /> <br />Trustee Cre!i'!eau informed the Council that Mr. Kosslak has upgraded <br />tpe property and the police have no problems with the area; he <br />feels Mr. Kosslak is entitled to approval of this request. <br /> <br />Q20 <br />
