T. Peterson be granted a variance <br />on the setbacID requirement for the placement of his house on his <br />lot on Tiller ~ane and Cannmn Avenue; motion carried. <br /> <br />Roseville Sewe~ Rate Resolution <br />Acting Mayor Clt'epeau moved. seconded by Trustee Olmen, that action <br />be delayed unt~l the Sept. 13 Council meeting regarding an invitation <br />from Rosevillel to withhold sew~r payments to St. Paul until an <br />agreeable basis for rates 'and charges has been determined; motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Copies of the Roseville re~olution were distributed to the Council <br />and the Village Attorney. <br /> <br />Apportionment of Assessments <br />Trustee Olmen moved the approval of resolutions relating to <br />apportionment of assessments relatinr, to Street Improvement No.3 <br />and Sanitary Sewer I.provements Nos. 1.3 and 6, as per attached; <br />seconded by Trustee Olmenj motion carried. <br /> <br />~proval of State Higmvay Dept. Plans <br />l'ustee Olmen moved the approval 01' the adoptHln of a resolutions <br />as per attached and as recon~ended by ~nGr. Lund. to plans as <br />submitted by the State tlighaay Dept. reeel'dinG the landscaping of <br />35W~394 and 694~393; seconded by Trustee Lang; motion carried. <br /> <br />Sewer Connection without Permit <br />Clerk Lorraine St.l'omquis~ informed the Council that a situation <br />has been brought to her attention whereby a sinrle sewer connection <br />was made to the sanitary sewer system which actually serviced two <br />residences. A permit was never taken out for the one residence nor <br />has this property ever bean billed for sewer service. <br /> <br />The Council determined approval should be obtained from both <br />owners for this joint connection and the one property owner should <br />be backcharged for services fl'om the time of connection. Matter <br />referred to the Clerk. <br /> <br />BUdp:et Reports <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromqllist distributed copies of the Village Budget <br />Relort through July. 1965. She also again reminded the Council to <br />submit their estuuated budgets for 1966. <br /> <br />Village Audit <br />Ulerk Lorraine Stl'omquist reported that the audit of the 1964 <br />accounts was completed last week by the Geo.
