Lund informed the Council that he wi~l have a report on this <br />at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />REPORT OF BLDG. INSP. KELLEY <br /> <br />Twin Cit! Trailer Court Addition <br />Trustee ang moved, seconded by Trustee Olmen, as recmnmended by <br />Mr. Aelley, that a building pel:'mlt be issued to allow a 12' x 24' <br />addition to the utility building at the Twin City Trailer Court; <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />N.W. Bell Stora~e Garage Building <br />Clerk Lorraine tromquist read the recommendation from the Planning <br />Corr~ission, dated May 4, 1965. <br /> <br />Trustee Olmen moved, seconded by Trustee Lang, that a building <br />permit be issued to Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. to construct <br />a 200' x 60' storage garage in the Twin City Industl:'ial Park, as <br />recommended by the Planning Commission providing the setback is <br />the required 50 ft.; motion carried. <br /> <br />Construction without Permits <br />Clerk Lcrrqine Stromquist inf'ormed the Council that the County <br />Assessor's office has brought to the attention of the Villa~e <br />that an addition to a cOll~ercial establishment and two residences <br />have been constructed in the Villare without permits. Mr. Aelly <br />explained how this could have happened and informed the Council <br />that permits Will-be obtained. <br /> <br />Debris Matter <br />Mr. AeIly informed the Council that according to Atty. Courtney, <br />the matter of' debris placed along a fence between two village <br />residents is not a village matter. <br /> <br />Stephenson Matter <br />Mr. A.elly inf'ormed the Council that the Stephensoh home on Lake <br />Johanna is being constructed in a s9tisf'actory schedule; the fine <br />grading is expected to be done over the Labor Day weekend. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE LANG <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Parks and Playground Committee <br /> <br />Trustee Lang reported that this Committee has the services of two <br />appraisers and will have a report at its next meeting from them <br />ooncerning proposed recreationsl areas. <br /> <br />Trustee Lang also inf'ormed the Council that he is submitting lists <br />of' playground equipment, suppliers and a proposed f'orm letter <br />requesting quotations 8S prepared by member Justin Smalley. He <br />also submitted a proposed letter to be sent to three specified <br />f'ence companies for quotations for a portion of the fencing f'or <br />the County Road F playground. Matter referred to Clerk Lorraine <br />Stromquist. <br /> <br />ResiFnation ~f Trustee Lan~ <br />Trustee Lang submItted a letter of resignation, dated August 9. <br />1965. to be effective August 24. 1905, in which he informed the <br />Council that he has purchased a home in New Brighton and, theref~e. <br />will be unable to continue as a Trustee fo~ the Village of Arden <br />Hills. He expressed his apprediation for the opportunity of serv- <br />ing on various village cOWmittees and as Trustee. <br /> <br />~3= <br />
