Kelley informed the Council that Don Wilsey has purchased the <br />Weldon property on Lake Johanna and Mr. Wilsey believes he has <br />Council permission to repair same. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy stated that the matter had been diacusll'ed~ but no <br />asSUrance was given that per.mission would be granted. READ <br /> <br />Worth Read, Chairman. reported on a me9ting held. the Committee <br />determined that there were not sufficient facts end figures available <br />to give more then a px'e1iIJ.inary study to the mat;ter of land acquisi- <br />tion for recreational pu!>poses at this tiIJ.e. Availability of Federal <br />funds is under study and the entire topic will be given continued study <br />by the Committee. <br /> <br />Trustee Lang stated that he felt that appraisals on the recommended <br />sites are necessary. <br /> <br />MaYOrKenn~dY informed the Council that he would confer wIth Atty. <br />Courtney on the ma tter. <br /> <br />Trustee Nethercut moved. seconded by Trustee Crepeau. that the Finance <br />Committee ~e requested to study possible amendment to the Liquor <br />Ordinance and submit to the Council, motion carried. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE Nl!."THERCUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE CHl!:P):.AU <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Nei~hbor Complaint <br />A resident on G1enpau1 Aven e complained about objectionable neighbors <br />renting the house at 1900 Glenpaul Ave. Trustee Cre~eau requested the <br />complainant to call him when trouble arises. <br /> <br />Trustee crepeau requested the Clerk to veri~y that the swwer service <br />is actUally connected at 1900 Glenpaul. The owner is being billed. <br />but there is a .question as to whether the 5.nsic~e plmnhins 1s connected. <br /> <br />Fire Arms Ordinance <br />Trustee Crepeau reported that more study is necessar.w before this <br />Ordinance is ready for Council action. <br /> <br />Police Dept. <br />Trustee Crepeau reported that the Police Dept. has been exceedingly <br />busy with juvenile problems at tie hemsey County Beach area and <br />believes that some aid should come from Ramsey County. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE LANG <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Committee <br />Trustee Lang informed the Council that the C~mmittee is preparing a <br />list to submit to the Council on playground eqUipment along with at <br />least three companies who sell this equipment.
