The second estimate <br />would be for sealcoating only with the Village personnel doing the <br />patch worko <br /> <br />The Council ag~eea to proceed with the. improvement. <br />REPORT OF MAYOR KIDiNEDY <br /> <br />Audit of 1964 Village Accounts <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist submitted proposals from three auditing <br />firms to audit the 1964 Village aecounts. After some discussion. <br />Trustee Crepeau moved. seconded by Trustee Olmen. that the Clerk be <br />authorized to enter into an agreement with the Geo. rtansen Co. for <br />this audit; motion carried. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK LjRRAINE STROMQUIST <br /> <br />Licenses ~ Garbage and Rubbish Haulers <br />Trustee Olmen moved. seconded by Trustee Nethercut, that the following <br />garbage and rubbish haulers be granted licenses in the Village: <br /> <br />Robert W. Nixon <br />J. W. Gallagher. dba Suburban Pickup Service <br />Leo B. Bruder, dba J & W Pickup Service <br />Richard T. Gallagher. dba Gallagher's Service. Inc. <br /> <br />mO'Gion Carried. <br /> <br />Clerk repor ted that Dr. Farkas Villa('e Health Officer> has recommended <br />approval of granting the licenses. and recommended that the Village <br />require each concern to inform us of their means of disposal. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Request for Side Lot Variance <br />Trustee Crepeau moved, sec aJded by Trustee NetheZ'cut, that a variance <br />be granted, as recommended by the Board of Ap~ a1s. to permit Carl <br />Swanson. 1924 Grant Road, to construct a garage five feet from the <br />east property line; motion carried. <br /> <br />Sign Ordinance Matters <br />Clerk Was requested to oal1 the following concerns who have COD= <br />forming signs. but have not applied for licenses this year: <br /> <br />Texaoo Station <br />Stewart Lumber Co. <br />Carroll Furniture Co. <br />Edna's Truck Stop. <br /> <br />Clerk reported that the following non=conforming signs are still <br />standing. although the owners had agreed to remove them: <br /> <br />Brennl!.n Coo <br />Twin City Speedway <br />MoGuire's Restaurant <br />rtarkins Driving Range. <br /> <br />Council authorized the Clerk to write each concern that the signs <br />must be removed by Sept. 1, 1965, or the matter will be referred to <br />the Village Atty. to proceed according to the Ordinance. <br /> <br />=5", <br />
