Oak Avenue Street Improvement, in the amount <br />of $787.86 to be paid to Bituminous Roadways. Inc, for the repair of <br />settled sewer trenches; motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk LLrraine Stromquist also read a letter. dated June 24. 1905$ <br />from Minn=Kota Excavating, Inc, to Atty, Courtney, which stated that <br />they felt the deduction of this amount from their contract amount wes <br />excessive and unjustified. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ATTY, COURTNEY <br /> <br />Vessey=Thompson Matter <br />Atty, Courtney reported that Mr, Jmmes. attorney for Alan Vessey, had <br />informed him by letter. th~t Mr. Vessey has now agreed to give the <br />two easements desired by the Village. <br /> <br />Clerk LorTaine Stromquist informed the Cour.o:U that Mr, Thompson is <br />concerned with the placement of the garare l~, Vessey pToposes to <br />build on the lot he intends to purchase from the Village.. ~he also <br />informed the Counoil that this matter had been before the Board of <br />Appeals and in the minutes of the meeting of May 30, 19~~. the Boa~d <br />recommended the issuance of a building permit with reasonable variances. <br /> <br />The Council deoided that the matter will be heard at the Council meetQ <br />ing of July 12, 1965. and request Mr, Vessey and r~, Thompson to <br />appear and Mr. Vessey to bring his plan for the garage. <br /> <br />Rezoning of Property South of Floral Drive <br />Trustee Nethercut moved, seconded by Trustee Crepeau, that the publi@ <br />hearing date be set for July 12, 1965, for the rezoning of property <br />south of Floral Drive and west of Hamline Avenue. and directed the <br />Clerk to CaUse the publication and mailing of notioes. motion carried. <br /> <br />Atty, Courtney to furnish the Clerk with the ownership report for <br />notices to be sent on July 1, 1965. <br /> <br />2Q14 Thom Drive <br />Atty.
