Lexington Avenue. be appointed to the Parks and Recreation <br />Committee; motion oarried. Clerk requested to 80 inform M~. Kuehn. <br /> <br />Proposed Park Property <br />Trustee Lang displayed a small section map which designated propel'ty <br />located in New Brighton which the Committee is oonsidering for recrcationa~ <br />areB. The Committee proposes the Villaf.8 negotiate with New Brighton <br />for trade. The property is on the east &ide of 35Wp borders Round Lake <br />and consists of possibly 10 acres. The Council suggested the Committee <br />wait for the opinion of Atty. Courtney. <br /> <br />Trustee Lang suggested that the Village again contact the Federal Gov1t <br />snd request it release the shoreline around Round Lake. Mrs. rlarmon stated that temporary signs are often <br />placed at this location by the Church. The Council requested the Clerk <br />to ask the Church to remove the sign immediately after the dinner. <br /> <br />Clerk requested to inform the owner of a "Lots for Sale" sign f~' Oak <br />Avenue that the sign is in violation to the Sign Ordinance; it is <br />possibly on Villa!~e property and is also larger than allowed. <br /> <br />Trustee Nethercut moved. seconded by Trustee Lang. that a sign advertis= <br />ing "Property for Sale", loca~ed at Highway 10. south of County Road E=2 <br />and one located on Cleveland and County ROAd E=2, and owned by Rees= <br />Thomson=Scroggins, Inc., be allowed to remain during 1965; motion <br />carriedo <br /> <br />=3... <br />
