Lund reported that Gray Fox Ro~d is constructed on D State <br />drainage right of way; he has checked with the state 8~d was info~med <br />that the State has no intention of maintaining ito I'h was built by' <br />the developer of the Twin City Industrial Park. but has not as yet <br />been t;urned over to the Village. Cour'Gney inquired as to the status of the road '!Thich was b0".ilg <br />constructed by Control Data on their property and then was to be <br />turned over to the Village. Lund reported that the state of Minnesota, Dept. of Health. <br />has written a letter, dated April 12, 1905, with an attachment from <br />the Minnesota Water Pollution Control Commission and their permlt <br />no. 508, apprOVing the plans for the sewer construction on the <br />Bethel property ~ no oouncil action necessary. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist informed the Council that Bethel Colleg& <br />had requested an estimate of their sewe~ rate charge. The matte~ <br />had been referred to Bngr. Don Lund. who with Roger Short studied <br />the Ordinance and decided that we really did not have a method for <br />determining suoh a charge, but submitted a proposed method which <br />Clerk Lorraine StromqUist read. The proposal was based on two <br />charges - the meter size and a specified no. of gallons of wate~ <br />usedoy residents according to classification as detailed in th~ <br />letter. The O&dinanoe was referred to Attyo Courtney for stUdy" <br /> <br />Delinquent Sewer ACCOUnts <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist requested the Counci)~ to consider sn amend," <br />ment to the Sewer Rate and Charges Ordinance to allow a penalty <br />charge to be made on aocounts which are certified to the County <br />Audi'Gor for collection. She mentioned that one industrial establish" <br />ment has not paid any monay on their account since they oonnected <br />to the system in October, 1963. The Counoil discussed a penalty of <br />5 - 6% after 45 days. Matter referred to Atty. Courtney to draft <br />such an amendment to the Ordinanoeo <br /> <br />"2= <br />
