Clerk requested to send a thank you letter to Centill'Y <br />Fence for submitting a bid. Trustee Lang s'Gai;sd 'Ghilt <br />Mrs. Langer did not have a report concerning the library study at their <br />last meetingo <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE OLMEN <br /> <br />Church Bulletin Board <br />T:rustee Nethercut moved. seconded by Trustee Crepeau, that a variance <br />be granted to Ordinance 76, Section 2. Paragraph b. to allow the <br />second bulletin board to remain at the Trinity Lutheran Church on New <br />Brighton Road. motion carried. <br /> <br />Equipment PurChase <br />The Council agreed that the Village purchase a street sweeper of the <br />type that can be attached to the tractor owned by Fred Nixon. Said <br />sweeper to pick up rubbish and also load ito <br /> <br />Street Signs <br />.I!':red Nixon repor'Ged that Scotchlite street signs are obtainable in <br />g:reen only and the cost is no more than our present signs, except that <br />a different bracket must be purchased as the new signs will be smaller '" <br />cost of the bracket $2.00; cost of the new signs $10000 for cach inter~ <br />section. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Cou~cil agreed that a program be started whereby all street signs <br />needing replacement be replaced with scotchlite signs. The Council <br />requested Fred Nixon to chec% the entil'e Village ror necessary replace~ <br />ment, including those signs on which the street name is misspelled, <br /> <br />Load Restrictions <br />b'red .Nixon inf'ormed the Council that the load restrictions will be <br />lifted on May 15, 1965. <br /> <br /><=4.,., <br />
