Kennedy suggested that the <br />Board of Appeals should consider possible amendments to the Ordinance, <br /> <br />Trustee Nethercut moved, seconded Qy Trustee Olmen. that the Schutta <br />Nursery sign be licensed for one year, motion carried. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist informed the Council of sign owners who <br />have not responded to notification of the Sign Ordinance. Trustee Nethercut stated that he believes only principle <br />signs should be governed by the Ordinance. Trustee Crepeau believes <br />that the Council could use discretion on 'this ma..~'~er. TI'ustee Lsng <br />inquired whether a distinction had been made between fixed and portable <br />signs. Mayor Kennedy said the purpose of the Ordinance is not to en= <br />fOl:'ee licensing of temporaily signs; he also suggested that when Clerk <br />Lorraine Stromquist wntacts sign owners she should emphasize that <br />the purpose of the Ordinance is ~o eliminate signs and was not intended <br />to raise finances. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Ordinance Committee Meetin! <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist nfOrnledthe Council that the Ordinance <br />Committee has requested a joint meeting with the Council and the <br />Village Atty. regarding the oodification of the Villare Ordinances <br />whioh they have now oompleted, The Council agreed to a meeting at <br />the Village Hall on May 3 and requested the Clerk to verify this date <br />with John Sexton, Chairman of the Committee, and to send notices of <br />the meeting to the Council and Atty. Mayor Kennedy suggested that <br />I , <br />consideration be given to a loose leaf type of note book to keep the <br />Village Ordinances current ,after their adoption" <br /> <br />Multiple DwelliOt Complaints <br />Clerk Lorraine S romquist info~ed the Council of a complaint from <br />a Village resident that 3252 Lake Johanna Blvd. has possibly been <br />converted into a two family dwelling. This matter and~ pOSSible <br />similar situation existing on' Glenpaul ROad were referred to Trustee <br />Crepeau. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENG1NEER <br /> <br />Possible Feasibility Report - Sewer for Northern Arden Hills <br />Wm. Banister. at the request of Mayor Kennedy. was present to report <br />on the cost of a feasibility report from the Village Engineer regeTd= <br />ing sewer service for the northern area of the Village. Wm. Banister <br />gave the background of attempts to sewer the north area of the Village <br />through the arsenal" He believes that mt this time it is not pOSSible <br /> <br />=2= <br />
