Reo Air ConditioninQ and Ref:dqeration <br />Trustee Olmen moved approval and give the First Reading of an O.dinance, amending <br />Ordinance Noo 16. known as the Arden Hills Building Code, to provide permits for <br />air conditioning and refrigeration systems and fees for such~e~mJ:C:;1 seconded by <br />Trustee Crepeau, motion carried. <br /> <br />Building Insp. Clay Kelley informed the Council that there is notl}ing 1n the Uniform <br />Building Code conceL n1n9 ail' conditioning or i'efrigeration as the code is pdf;2:rily <br />concerned with stZ'Uc-tural rna.&terSo <br /> <br />Some discussion of the proposed Ordinance by the Council, Heating Insp. Virgil <br />Keller and Atty. Courtney. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy recommended .that plug-in units, such as refi'ige ators, humidifierso <br />dehumidifiersc air conditione s. etc., be exempt from this Lrdinance. <br /> <br />Matter referred to Atty. Courtney and Virgil Keller to work out the details. <br /> <br />Presbyterian Homes Air Conditioning <br />Clerk Lorraine stromquist informed the Council that there :is some concern about <br />the Presbyta!'ian Homes air-conditioning installation as they plan to run the l'/a'~er <br />from the sys.tam into Lake Johanna. Mayor Kennedy stated that he does not believe <br />the Village should become involved as it is public water; he believes they should <br />get permission for this from the Conservation Dept. rather than the VillageQ <br /> <br />. Ordinance - Roseville Sewer Rate Reduction <br />Trustee crepeau roo ed the rules be suspended and the second and. final reading be <br />given to an c.rdinance accepting the provisions, terms and conditions contained in <br />Ordinance No. 4l)2 passed by the Village of Roseville on Jnnuary 11. 1965, and <br />particularly Section 111 thereof. All relating to the connection by the Village <br />of Arden Hills to the public sanitary sewer"system of the Village of Roseville; <br />seconded by Trustee Lang; motion carried. <br /> <br />Personnel ordinance <br />Mayor Kennedy read the proposed Ordinance' ~"rl additions, deletions and clarifica- <br />tions were recommended. Ordinance referred to Atty.
