<br />-. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />NOTICE OF BEARING ON ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT NO. 5 <br />VILIAGE OF ARDElI1 HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NC1rICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the village of <br />Arden Hills, Minnesota will meet at the Village Hall located at <br />1450 W. Highway 96 in said village on Thursday , Ootober 25 <br />1962 at8aOO o.clock P.M. to hear, consider and pass upon any <br />and all written or oral objections which may be offered with <br />respect to the proposed special assessments for Street IiDprove- <br />ment No. 5.- The proposed asseSsment roll is now on file and open <br />to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of <br />the Village Clerk. The entire amount assessed against each parcel <br />of land will be payable, unless prepaid, in ten (10) equal con- <br />secutive annual installments, the fi.rst of such installments to <br />be payable with general taxes for the year 1962, collectible with <br />such taxes during the year 1963. The first installment will be <br />payable with interest at the rate of five percent (5%) per annum <br />on the entire assessment from the date of the resolution levying <br />the same to December 31, 1963, and each subsequent installment <br />will be payable with one year's interest at said rate on all <br />unpaid installments, except that no interest will be charged if <br />the entire assessment as to any parcel is paid at the office of <br />the Treasurer within thirty (30) days from the date of adoption of <br />the assessment roll. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The general nature of Street IiDprovement No.5 consists <br />of the grading and surfacing of the village streets described <br />below, including the construction of stoJ:m sewers necessary and <br />incidental thereto. ' <br /> <br />The area proposed to be assessed for the.ilnprovement <br />includes each lot and parcel of land abutting on a street desig- <br />nated below or any portion thereof, or situated within a platted <br />one-half block abutting on such street or portion thereof: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Glenpaul Avenue from Cleveland Avenue to New Brighton Road. <br />Edgewater Avenue from 300 feet west of Prior Avenue to New <br />Brighton Road. <br />Jerrold Avenue from 300 feet west of Prior Avenue to New <br />Brighton Road. <br />Prior Avenue from County Road DDn to 150 feet north of <br />Jerrold Avenue. <br />Beckman Avenue from New Brighton Road to Lake Johanna Blvd. <br />Shorewood Drive from County Road "D" north 'to its terminus. <br />Sandeen Road from Lake Johanna Boulevard east and then <br />north to Lake Johanna Boulevard. <br />Stowe Avenue ,from New Brighton Road to Lake Johanna Blvd. <br />Lake Lane from Lake Johanna Boulevard west 1000 feet, more <br />or less. <br />Noble Road from New Brighton Road to Fairview Avenue. <br />Grant Road from New Brighton Road to Fairview Avenue. <br />Fairview Avenue from Lake Johanna Boulevard to Grant Road. <br /> <br />Dated: <br /> <br />September 24. 1962 <br /> <br />:J;:RDER' OF THEV:p:.IAGE COUNCIL <br /> <br />-~" e.. ~~ <br />Lorraine stromquist <br />villaqeClerk <br />
