<br />:extract of Minutes of the Meeting <br />of the Village Council of the <br />Village of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br /> <br />~ of the Village Council of the Village of Arden Bills, Minnesota, <br />was duly held at the Village Ball in said village on the 10th <br />day of September, 1962 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The following members were <br />Olmen & Stromquist. <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />present: <br /> <br />," -, '1, <br /> <br />Crepeau, Kennedy, <br /> <br />c. Ashbaoh. <br /> <br />A discussion was held regarding proposed assessments for <br /> <br />Street Improvement No.3. Member <br /> <br />Kennedy <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLU'l'ION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Street Improvement No. <br />3 of the Village of Arden Hills, in the area described in the <br />legal notice thereof and the resolution thereto, and the contract <br />prices and all exppnses incurred or to be incurred in the making <br />of said improvement amount to $ so that the total cost <br />of the improvement will be $ 231,921.20 f and of this cost the <br />village will pay $ 117.1lli.00 as its share of the cost, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the <br />Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed <br />is hereby declared to be $ 114,808.20 <br /> <br />2. The village clerk, with the assistance of the village <br />engineers, Banister Engineering Company, shall forthwith <br />calculate theproper amount to be specially assessed for such <br />improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of <br />land within the district affected, without regard to cash val- <br />uation, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such <br />proposed assessment in her office for public inspection. The <br />services of the Machine Accounting Division of the County of <br />Ramsey shall be utilized, insofar as possible. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />3. The clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed <br />assessment, notify the council thereof, and the clerk and the <br />engineer are hereby directed to have the tentative assessment <br />roll prepared and returned to the council by Sept. 24. 1962 <br />for their further action in calling a public hearing thereon. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />duly seconded by Olmen <br />thereon, the following voted in <br /> <br />Olmen.. & ::;'GroIllcp ist. . <br />and the fO~LoWing voted aga1nst <br /> <br />and upon <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />vote being taken <br />Crepeau, Kennedy <br /> <br />the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed _~_a.~~P::d~_ <br />
