It's new in the sense that our previous firm was started <br /> in 1909. <br /> Last December lst, Wehrman Bergly Associates merged with the firm <br /> of Sanders and Associates, Inc. The name of the new firm is a <br /> blend of the two former names with the addition of IIWackerll <br /> (pronounced "Walker") . Principals of the new firm are Bill <br /> Sanders, President i Larry Wacker, Vice-President/Treasurer and John <br /> Bergly, Vice-President/Secretary. Keith Hehrman, my partner and <br /> associate since 1960, turned 65 in August, 1990, and has spent this <br /> last year in transition to retirement, making sure all of his <br /> projects and clients are well-served. <br /> Hith our staff of nine, consisting of seven landscape architects, <br /> one planner (myself) and one clerical, we continue to provide the <br /> same range of planning and landscape architectural services <br /> provided by our firm throughout it's history. Over the past decade <br /> our old firm was becoming more involved in planning for developers, <br /> while Sanders and Associates, Inc. was perhaps more involved in <br /> downtown business district improvements and streetscapes. Both <br /> firms have always been leaders in the area of park/recreation/open <br /> space planning and design and that emphasis has not changed. We <br /> are also landscape and site planning consultants to a number of <br /> private clients, architectural and engineering firms and <br /> developers. <br /> Mark Salzman will be responsible for landscape inspections in Arden <br /> Hills and will assist in reviewing landscape plans. Mark's hourly <br /> billing rate is $45.00. <br /> I'll attach my resumel along with thos,e of Bill Sanders, Larry <br /> Wacker and Mark Salzmani a list of projects we've been working on <br /> this past year and a brief description of the firm. <br />
