Absent: Councilmernber JoAnn GrOlNe. Also present: Park <br /> Director John Buckley, Clerk Administra1:= Gary Berger and Deputy Clerk Catherine <br /> Iago. <br /> GOAL SEITING i Councilmernbers conducted a Goal Setting Session with <br /> PARK DIRECIOR Park Director Buckley between 6:30 and 7:20 p.m. <br /> Council reconvened for the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. <br /> AOOPI' Malone moved, seconded by Hicks, to adopt the January 27 <br /> AGENDA Agenda as suhnitted, Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> APPROVE Malone moved, seconded by Mahowald, to approve the <br /> MINUI'ES January 2 Special Council meeting minutes as submitted. <br /> Motion carried unarillnously, (4-0) <br /> CDNSENT Councilmernber Malone referred to Item 5(b) under the <br /> CALENDAR Consent Calendar, Committee Appointments, and suggested <br /> the Park Director contact Mark Literski to determine if <br /> he is interested in assisting the Parks Committee, based on expertise listed in <br /> his resume. <br /> . Park Director Buckley advised he would contact Literski and subnit a <br /> recommendation at the next regular meeting. <br /> CounciJ1nember Malone referred to Item 5(C), Request to Attend Conference, under <br /> the Consent Calendar and remarked to the Administrator that the fact the funds <br /> are b.1dgeted for a conference does not automatically justify attendance by an <br /> employee. <br /> Malone questioned the stabls of the Zeos business license and if they are <br /> operating without a license, <br /> 'The Clerk Administrator advised the application for license is being held pending <br /> resolution of the business sign issue, <br /> Mayor Sather suggested staff attenpt to quickly resolve this matter. <br /> Malone moved, seconded by Mahowald, to adopt the Consent <br /> Calendar and authorize execution of all necessary dOCl.llll8l1ts contained therein: <br /> a. Approve Salaries for winter Parks & Recreation staff, <br /> b. Approve Committee Appointments Public Safety/Works Committee. <br /> c. Approve Request to Attend MCFOA Conference, Deputy Clerk. <br /> d, Approve 1992 Business Licenses. <br /> e. Approve List of Claillls and Payroll. <br /> .
