Motion carried unani1nously, (4-0) Council1nen1ber Hicks questioned if the North SUb.lrban Chaplaincy program is a~ .,J&If denominational program. Frank Belga, st, Mary's Church, advised the Chaplaincy program is a religiously affiliated Christian program, supported by st, Mary's Church. CLMPARABLE Council was refe=ed to the Jl'\E!l'OClranclJ.nn from the Clerk IDRI'H EVALUATION Administrator dated 1/2//92, relating to the MAMA ~able Worth study Update, Administrator Berger advised the request is f= the City to participation in the Comparable Worth Job Evaluation study Update. He indicated the cost for participation is $1,255,00 and if the Council does not plan for a team building session this year, funds are available to for the comparable worth study. Berger advised Council of the other alternatives listed in his memorandLnn. He explained the alternatives appear to be more expensive than participation with . the MAMA group. Council1nen1ber Malone questioned if all job classifications would be updated with the study and if all city employees would participate in the evaluation, Berger stated all jobs will be reviewed and in a City this size, all employees may fill out the evaluation questionnaire. Hicks moved, se=nded by Malone, to approve the City's participation in the Comparable Worth Job Evaluation and. the expenditure of $1,255,00 from A=ount 207 in the Mayor and council Fund. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) CLMPARABLE IDRlli Council was refe=ed to the memoranclJ.nn from the Clerk REPORT; DEPI', OF Administrator dated 1-24-92, relating to the 1991 EMPIDYEE REIATIONS ~able Worth Report which is required by the Deparbnent of Eluployee Relations. Berger stated the city must sulInit this report to be in compliance with state statutes. He explained the report will be analyzed by OOER and they will forward recannnendations if the City is not in compliance with =ent regulations. Mahowald moved, se=nded by Hicks, to approve the report on Comparable Worth and authorize the Clerk Administrator to suhnit the 1991 Report to OOER, Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) .
