Motion carried unani1nously, (4-0) <br /> Council1nen1ber Hicks questioned if the North SUb.lrban Chaplaincy program is a~ .,J&If <br /> denominational program. <br /> Frank Belga, st, Mary's Church, advised the Chaplaincy program is a religiously <br /> affiliated Christian program, supported by st, Mary's Church. <br /> CLMPARABLE Council was refe=ed to the Jl'\E!l'OClranclJ.nn from the Clerk <br /> IDRI'H EVALUATION Administrator dated 1/2//92, relating to the MAMA <br /> ~able Worth study Update, <br /> Administrator Berger advised the request is f= the City to participation in the <br /> Comparable Worth Job Evaluation study Update. He indicated the cost for <br /> participation is $1,255,00 and if the Council does not plan for a team building <br /> session this year, funds are available to for the comparable worth study. <br /> Berger advised Council of the other alternatives listed in his memorandLnn. He <br /> explained the alternatives appear to be more expensive than participation with <br /> . the MAMA group. <br /> Council1nen1ber Malone questioned if all job classifications would be updated with <br /> the study and if all city employees would participate in the evaluation, <br /> Berger stated all jobs will be reviewed and in a City this size, all employees <br /> may fill out the evaluation questionnaire. <br /> Hicks moved, se=nded by Malone, to approve the City's <br /> participation in the Comparable Worth Job Evaluation and. the expenditure of <br /> $1,255,00 from A=ount 207 in the Mayor and council Fund. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. (4-0) <br /> CLMPARABLE IDRlli Council was refe=ed to the memoranclJ.nn from the Clerk <br /> REPORT; DEPI', OF Administrator dated 1-24-92, relating to the 1991 <br /> EMPIDYEE REIATIONS ~able Worth Report which is required by the <br /> Deparbnent of Eluployee Relations. <br /> Berger stated the city must sulInit this report to be in compliance with state <br /> statutes. He explained the report will be analyzed by OOER and they will forward <br /> recannnendations if the City is not in compliance with =ent regulations. <br /> Mahowald moved, se=nded by Hicks, to approve the report <br /> on Comparable Worth and authorize the Clerk Administrator to suhnit the 1991 <br /> Report to OOER, Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> . <br />
