MoUoo <br />carried. <br /> <br />Several residents appoa%'ed with additional info~ation regarding the Myth- <br />land Club _ formerly known as Edgewatar Motel. They also expressed "their <br />. interest and concel'O over what the Council was doing in :regard to the olub. <br /> <br />iYI1'>. LBl'l'Y Kuehn, 3199 N. Lexington. the nearest neighbor to the Mythland <br />Club stated that the disturbance aftsr one O'clock in the morning plus <br />personal threats and phone calls W8~e very serioUD and he was insistent <br />tha t something be done to stop this opal'a t10Do <br /> <br />. <br />Mr. Czoapaau, Public Safety Commissioner read !'epol'ts made b;V Village <br />Inspectors of the Mythland Club as attached. Briefly the reports indicats <br />as followss <br />1. Walter C. Ilaugh. Heabing Inspector stated that flWOOcs and duct <br />work in main building was deterio~ated and dirt;v and indicated it <br />had not been used for a considerable length of timeo Hot platalll <br />in cabins ware a fire haza~d. <br /> <br />2c Clay Kelley, Building Inspector. has given p~asentowna~s until <br />August l~ 1961, to clean up trash snd unsightly oonditions on <br />pr61fdsas 0 .' <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />3. Winfield WEISt, Plumbing Inspeotor rspo~ts no venting on plumbing. <br /> <br />4. Ed Salverda, Electrioal Inspector has red tagged all electrical <br />wiring due to faulty oonditions and haa had the elect!'icity <br />turned oft 0 . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Victo%' Weber reported that the owners are no longe~ soliciting business <br />publicl;V but that previously salesmen were located in VB.l'ious OOl'S in 'Ghe <br />oi ty determining what people onted. to go out after "hours. On the spot <br />these people then WGre sold a membership card to the Myth1e.nd Club for <br />the cost of $3.00. <br />
