<br /> .,- <br /> Minutes of the Arden Hills Regular Council Meeting, 2-10-92 <br /> Page 12 <br /> KEITHSON (Cont' d) Foster advised the developer installed a dike in the . <br /> ponding area in 1990, at an elevation of 973, arrl it is <br /> recammended that the dike area be eliminated when the pond is reconfigured. <br /> Foster also noted that the elevations should be addressed; explained the o.munings <br /> property has had fill installed arrl the high water level should be lowered to an <br /> elevation of 972. <br /> Engineer Graham advised the elevation of the invert for the outlet pipe is 969 <br /> arrl 1/2; noted he has discussed the elevations with Mr. Foster arrl would be happy <br /> to review the calculations with Foster. <br /> Graham noted his discussions with RCWD regarding permit regulations; advised RCWD <br /> is reluctant to allow substantial grading of the pond. <br /> The Engineer offered to meet with Foster to discuss the plans arrl specifications <br /> and address any concerns. <br /> Acting Mayor Mahowald suggested the Engineer schedule a meeting with Foster to <br /> discuss concerns relating to the project. <br /> Mrs. Majors, 4521 Keithson Drive, questioned if the pond will be excavated to the <br /> proper elevation. <br /> Engineer Maurer asked for suggestions fram area residents regarding the proposed <br /> excavation of the pond; would they prefer the pond to be cleaned out arrl . <br /> excavated to the appropriate elevation, should the pond be landscaped or left in <br /> its natural state. <br /> Majors expressed a preference that the pond be excavated to the appropriate <br /> elevation. <br /> Mr. crimmins, 4509 Keithson Drive, requested an extension of the drain culvert to <br /> the pond, to eliminate the runoff erosion on his property. <br /> Engineer Maurer advised the staff would review the culvert arrl report at the <br /> public hearing. <br /> Malone moved, seconded by Hicks, to adopt Resolution No. <br /> 92-12, RECEIVING 'lliE FEl\SIBILITY REFORI' IN 'lliE MA'ITER OF 'lliE 1992 KEI'IHSON AREA <br /> HOlDING POND AND Sl'ORM S~ IMPROVEMENTS. Motion ca=ied unanilrously. (4-0) <br /> Malone moved, seconded by Hicks, to adopt Resolution No. <br /> 92-13, SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING IN 'lliE MA'ITER OF 'lliE KEI'IHSON AREA HOlDING POND <br /> IMPROVEMENTS, on Monday, March 9, at 7;30 p.m., at city Hall.
