Motion carried unanimously (4-0) . <br /> AGREEMENT WITH ARCHITECT FOR <br /> PHASE I OF NEW CITY HALL PROJECT <br /> City Attorney Filla reported that he has reviewed the <br /> pro~osed contract for the City to enter into an agreement <br /> wit~ the architectural firm BRW Architects, Inc. for phase I <br /> of the City Hall project and has found it to be in order and <br /> ready to be executed. <br /> . MOTION: Hahowald moved, seconded by Malone, to authorize the <br /> city to enter into a contract with BRW Architects, Inc. <br /> to proceed with Phase I of the new City Hall and <br /> Maintenance Facilities Project. Hotion carried <br /> una'nimous 1 y (4-0). <br /> Malone commented that although he was impressed by all of <br /> the architectural firms interviewed, he was confident of the <br /> decision to contract with BRW. <br /> Denny Probst of BRW thanked the Council for selecting his <br /> firm and said he looked forward to working with the City. <br /> Probst and the Council agreed to an jnitial worksession on <br /> May 18, 1992. <br /> REQUEST FROM NORTH SUBURBAN <br /> CABLE TO ADOPT RESOLUTION <br /> Council had received a request from North Suburban Cable <br /> Commission to adopt a resolution urging the Minnesota <br /> congressional delegation to co-sponsor and support cable <br /> legislation which would provide consumer protection for <br /> cable television subscribers, preserve community television <br /> . channels and funding support, and protect the city's <br /> authority to control and manage its public rights-of-way. <br />
