Architect hired I <br /> I <br /> AH City Hall update <br /> The Arden Hills City Council unanimously <br /> chose BRW Architects over 59 other finns to <br /> proceed with plans for a new Arden Hills City <br /> Hall. <br /> Last year a city-sponsored ta,sk force <br /> reponed that a new city hall was overdue and it <br /> recommended the city spend up to $2.6 million <br /> to build a new city hall/public works building. <br /> On April 27 the first step was taken in that <br /> direction with the hiring of BRW. <br /> The city plans on inking the contract at its <br /> May 18 workshop meeling, and at that time will <br /> also discuss preliminary plans. BRW is charged <br /> with assisting in the building's site selection, <br /> firming up the size of the building and in <br /> nlaking preliminary drawings. <br /> The four sites being considered are the <br /> current sileal 1450 Highway %; the Lexington <br /> '. ,AY,enlle.
