Absent: Members Scott Petersen, <br /> and Barbara piotrowski. Also present: Planner John Bergly, Acting Clerk <br /> Administrator Catherine Iago, Recording Secretary Tery Shields, and <br /> Council Liaison Thomas Mahowald. <br /> APPRCl\7E MINllTES <br /> Chair Probst noted on Page 5 and 6, Case #92-15 SUP Amendment and Height <br /> Variance for Bethel College; surname for George Brushaber should be <br /> Doctor (Dr.) winiecki also noted on Page 9, motion to adjourn was <br /> seconded by piotrowski. <br /> McGraw moved, seconded by Erickson, to approve the August 5, 1992, <br /> Planning Minutes. All voted in favor. (5-0) <br /> . CllSE #92-16: SITE PIAN REVIEW. 1160 WEST CXllJNl'Y ROAD E. JOE cn!MERS (QiNER) <br /> Planner Bergly referred to his report dated September 2, 1992, and <br /> explained this item was presented to the Planning Commission in a <br /> conceptual fonnat at their meeting and is resul::rnitted for site Plan <br /> approval. The proposal includes renovation of the Wilding, site and <br /> public access. <br /> Bergly reviewed the findings listed in his report and the Revised Plan <br /> dated 9/02/92 (handout) and stated the issues that need to be addressed <br /> are as follows: <br /> 1. Acoess : <br /> A. Present access is one 30-foot driveway near the center of <br /> County Road E frontage a=mmodating 1 wide lane in and 1 <br /> wide lane out. <br /> B. Preliminary Plan: Access via a new driveway near the west <br /> property line; egress via the existing drive. <br /> C. CUrrent Plan: Present 2-way drive continuing as it exists; <br /> an additional 1 lane access drive near west property line. <br /> 2. Buildi.nq: <br /> A. Preliminary plan shc7..;ed west 'h of building removed and <br /> replaced with 4 drive-up lanes with one additional lane west <br /> of the present Wilding but infringing on the required 5- <br /> foot sideyard landscape strip. <br /> . B. Revised plan retains existing roof of west 'h of Wilding and <br /> all 5 drive-up lanes are under the roof. Columns will <br /> replace the west wall with both north and south walls <br /> removed up to the eaveline. <br />
