PrOPOSed <br /> by Good Value Homes: <br /> Mr. John Peterson, vice President of Good Value Homes, stated Good Value <br /> Homes is in the process of negotiating with Bethel College for the <br /> acquisition of a 10-a=e parcel near Chatham Avenue. He stated they are <br /> in the preliminary stages of developing approxlinately 36 townhome units <br /> (2 t~omes per unit), 1,200 sq.ft. and above per unit, and valued at <br /> $100,000 to $130,000 per unit. Mr. Peterson asked the Conunission about <br /> their opinions to the development and affects, if any, to the <br /> neighborhood. <br /> Mr. Dan O:jren, El:iina Realty, stated the density would be 5 to 6 units <br /> per a=e and indicated support of this type of development in Arden <br /> Hills. He indicated there is a strong market for townhouse development. <br /> Erickson questioned the possibility of rezoning the land to R-3 since <br /> there is a development moratorium inposed at this time. . <br /> Planning Conunission encouraged the Applicant to consider single family <br /> development. <br />
