Fred infonled me <br /> that he sustained an injury the 1st week of August and his doctor has <br /> advised him that his recovery period will be exterrled another one to two <br /> months. Fred is very appreciative of all the time council granted him. <br /> With this in mind, Fred is requesting an additional 90 day medical leave <br /> of al:sence without pay. I explained to him at this time, this would <br /> probably be his only option. <br /> RECX:M1ENDATION: <br /> . staff re=rnrnends to Council to grant his request of exterxiing his <br /> medical leave of absence for an additional 90 days corrnnencing September <br /> 11, 1992 until December 13, 1992. <br /> AcrION REQUIRED: If Council concurs with staff reconunendation, they <br /> should grant Mr. Reed a 90 day medical leave of al:sence corrnnencing <br /> September 11, 1992 to December 13, 1992, as requested. <br /> m:rk <br /> . <br />
