Remain informed on all aspects of municipal <br /> government; and research improved methods of <br /> administration for possible implementation in Arden <br /> Hills. <br /> d. Direct the affairs of the City in conformance with <br /> federal, state and City laws. <br /> e. Work with City Council and department heads in <br /> establishing goals and objectives designed to <br /> achieve and maintain the desired level of service <br /> for community residents. <br /> 5. Keep the Council informed on an on-going basis of City <br /> issues and concerns; and inform the Council about <br /> regional, state and national concerns that impact the <br /> City. <br /> a. Represent the City Council and/or maintain liaison <br /> in metropolitan and state government-related <br /> activities; and represent the City Council at <br />. public meetings outside the community. <br /> b. Inform the City Council on all important <br /> developments which may affect the administration of <br /> City government and which will allow Council <br /> members to perform effectively. <br /> c. Serve as the City's public information <br /> representative; confers with media; and speak at <br /> schoOls, civic, and other organizational events. <br /> 6.
