Motion carried unanimously (4-0) , MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Growe, to adopt Resolution 92-26 Ordering Preparation of Plans and Specifications for West Round Lake Road. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Growe, to authorize the City Engineer, to prepare a feasibility report for the improvement of Dunlap street for presentation at the May 11, 1992 Council meeting; such study to include soil boring tests and not to exceed $2,000. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). Graham asked and Council verified that Council's intent is to order the public hearings for both Dunlap and West Round Lake Road projects to be held simultaneously. APPROVING PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS , Q!,DE~ING BIDS - 1992 PARK AND TRAIL . IMPRQVEMENT PROJECT City Engineer Graham outlined the placement of the proposed bike trail stated the estimated cost of the project is $26,700. He added that excess fi 11 removed from the trail sites is to be hauled to City property for City use. Councilmember Mahowald asked if there were plans for a buffer, such as landscaping or bushes, to separate the trail from private property. He commented that resident input indicated support of the trail if such a buffer were installed. Graham said he was not aware of the desire for a buffer and further advised he would discuss landscaping with the Park Director. He also offered to meet with residents to discuss the project. Councilmember Malone stated that trails elsewhere often abut residents' property lines without any type of buffer. MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Growe, to adopt Resolution 92-27 Approving Plans and Specifications and Ordering Advertisement for Bids for the 1992 Park and Trail Improvement Project.
