-
. CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
MEKIlANDUM
DM'E: April 24, 1992
TO: Mayor and city Council
FRCH: Dan winkel, Public WOrks SUperintendent Jo.!
SUBJECT: Public WOrks Weekly Report
This week, the Public Works Crew continued sweeping city streets. The
adverse weather caused some delay in completing the entire project.
Mike McKinney was very lxIsy trying to check and repair water meter
discrepancies this week. We are finding it very difficult to view water
meters during the dayt:i1ne hours, since most residents are at work.
On Wednesday, I met with representatives from Marquette Partners, Mr.
Johnson and Mr. Kornula. Marquette Partners are property managers for most
of the hlildings on Dunlap street, between Grey Fox Road and Red Fox Road.
At our meeting, we discussed all of the options for repairing Dunlap
. street. They both are aware of the financial situations for repairing the
road and seemed to be in favor of a low cost quick repair.
Also this week, several crew members cleaned boulevards and prepared to
repair plow damage that cx::curred this past winter. Black dirt and grass
seied will be placed on boulevards within the next two to three weeks.
On Wednesday, the weight restriction were lifted and the signs were
removed from streets. Also, three broken hydrants were repaired.
If the Council has any questions or concerns, please contact me.
f1iI/ts
M92-141
.
