<br /> I . <br /> CITY ADMINISTRATOR - ADMINISTRATION <br /> Page 4 <br /> 4 ) The Administrator shall ensure that communications from the public <br /> or other governmental bodies to the Council are channeled to the <br /> Council. <br /> S) The Administrator shall coordinate City programs and activities as <br /> authorized by the Council, <br /> 6 ) When requested, the Administrator shall meet with state, federal <br /> and county personnel, <br /> 7 ) The Administrator shall represent the City at such official or <br /> semi-official functions as may be directed by the City Council. <br /> PERSONNEL OFFICER <br /> (. 1 ) The Administrator shall be the chief personnel officer of the <br /> City. <br /> 2) The Administrator shall be responsible for the implementation, <br /> enforcement and monitoring of the City's Personnel Policy as <br /> contained in the City Code and as may be interpreted Or further <br /> defined by applicable City Council resolutions, <br /> 3 ) The Administrator shall advise the Council as to the need for new <br /> employees. <br /> 4) The Administrator shall recommend. job descriptions for new <br /> positions and the Administrator shall recommend necessary or <br /> advisable revisions for existing positions. <br /> S ) In accordance with Council guidelines, the Administrator shall <br /> establish procedures for seeking job applicants and interviewing <br /> finalists for open positions. <br /> . <br />
