. , 7E
,
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
. MJH:IU\NOOM
twrE: AUgust 17, 1992
TO: ...,.,., ... City =u !
FRCH: Catharine J. Iago, 1lcting Clerk ]Irlm;n;strator \
SUBJECT: Fee Proposal for 1Ipprai.sals for city Hall and tad sites
Attached is corresporrlence from Appraiser Michael Bettendorf outlining
the =sts associated with the appraisal of the City Hall/Harstad sites
($4,000) and the Arden Place Drainage Inprovement area ($3,000 to
$5,000). It appears that both projects could be completed in
approximately 6 to 9 weeks from the date of authorization.
Approximately three weeks ago I contacted two additional appraisers,
Blake Davis and Gordon ElIrquist, both of whom indicated their schedules
would not accammodate completion of the project in the ti1ne frame
initially discussed; no further discussion has been held with either
Davis or Elnq:uist.
. Options for Council consideration are:
1) Authorize an expenditure not to exceed $9,000 for appraisal of the
Harstad/city Hall sites and Arden Place Irrprovement area, or
2) Request city staff to solicit additional quotes.
CITjts
Attachments
.
~
6'/17);.z
