This storm sewer will serve <br /> a small pond located behind 1553 Arden Place, which has been discussed at several Council <br /> . meetings over the last year. <br /> Please find attached the necessary easement documentation for your group's review. The first <br /> item is an Agreement to Convey Easement, along with an exhibit describing the easement on the <br /> property. This easement will allow the pipe to cross onto the property within a strip of land 20 <br /> feet wide by 40 feet long. The pipe will be centered within this easement and will disturb a <br /> smaller area. The specific alignment of the pipe will be established within the easement to <br /> minimize tree disruption. We would estimate 5 to 10 trees will need to be removed. The <br /> easement is necessary so that the pipe can be maintained by the City in future years as required. <br /> The easement also allows storm water to be conveyed from the small pond behind 1553 Arden <br /> Place to the group's property. <br /> Construction of the project cannot begin on the property until the Agreement to Convey <br /> Easement is executed by your group. It is anticipated that the construction of this project will <br /> occur in early October, so your prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated. <br /> The other form attached is a Grant of Permanent Easement. This form does not need to be <br /> executed as quickly as the other form, since construction can start without it. The City <br /> Attorney, as detailed in his attached letter, requests that the group provide an Abstract of Title <br /> or Owner's Duplicate Certificate of Title for the easement property.
