However, during rodget discussions for 1993, the <br /> Cotmcil approved reviewing copiers returning and to submit a <br /> recommendation. staff has evaluated tllree different copiers <br /> and recamrnends the purchase of a reconditioned Minolta 4902 <br /> at a cost to the City $2,995 (including $1,000 trade-in). <br /> Recommendation is for purchase of this item and is on the <br /> Consent Agenda due to the previous general agreement from <br /> the City Council. <br /> E. Cotmcil Agenda Unfinished and New Business Item No. 7A <br /> regarding on site false alarm notices - <br /> Ramsey County Sheriff's Deparbnent tllrough the <br /> Policing Contract with the city of Arden Hills has offered <br /> the service. Alarm notices would be placed by the Officer <br /> on site at the time of response. 'Ihe City of North Oaks has <br /> the service in place and has seen this as a very positive <br /> service to its citizens. '!he benefit is that there is an <br />. irmnediate notice to the homeowner placed by an Officer. The <br /> Sheriff's Dept. will respond immediately to the request by <br /> the city COilllcil if it is so approved to begin this service <br /> on any false alarm reports and at the time of checking the <br /> prerni~. staff recornrnendation is to approve this service <br /> as offered by the Sheriff's Deparbnent at no additional <br /> charge to the city. SUch service to begin i1nrnediately. <br /> F. Council Agenda Public Hearing Item No. 6 regarding Arden <br /> Place storm Sewer Inlprovement - <br /> Enclosed infonnation includes Chronological History, <br /> explanation of project from City Engineer, proposed <br /> resolution and appraisal infonnation. You will note that <br /> the appraisal infonnation excludes several property owners <br /> as not benefitted from the project, with several property <br /> owners paying higher than notice was sent. FiJrther legal <br /> infonnation will be available on Monday. <br /> II. lllFORMATION ONLY - NO ACrION NEEDED: <br /> A. The City has received a request for more infonnation <br /> from the Rice Creek Watershed District for the ground. water <br /> review that is being made.
