See photo 28. <br />. <br /> 2.5 ExterIor coatinq <br />. <br /> 2.5.1 Due to age, chalking, deterioration and lack of <br />.. inter-coat adhesion the entire exterior coating <br /> should be removed and replaced within 1 to 2 <br />. years with an epoxy/urethane coating system, <br /> similar to those manufactured by the Tnemec <br />II company. See photos land 26 through 28. <br />. 2.5.2 The exterior coating contains a low level of <br /> lead compounds, but is classified as lead based <br />~ paint. Removing it using conventional open air <br /> dry abrasive blasting methods may cause <br />. environmental problems. Reconditioning <br /> specifications must be designed to comply with <br /> current environmental regulations including full <br />. containment and provisions to eliminate <br /> generating hazardous waste. <br />~ <br />.. <br />. <br />
