He stated that the Commission only listens, evaluates and <br /> recommends and in his opinion the public does not fully understarxi camnission <br /> responsibilities. <br /> Chair Probst outlined the concerns heard earlier this evening from the RV <br /> infomational meetirg. He asked the Commission if they preferred to 0;<:('1155 <br /> changing any of their rec:omrneroations or preferred to present the changes to <br /> the Council for review and final recommendation. <br /> Carlson moved, secorxled by Winiecki to recommend to Council <br /> the Revised Zoning Ordinance for their consideration. (5-0). <br /> Chair Probst requested Commission members corouct a special session prior to <br /> February 19, 1993 to consider developirg a Master Plan for the Arsenal <br /> property . <br /> Chair Probst stated he met with the Mayor, Terry Post, Dick Wedell, Terry <br /> Shutten, Paul Kirkwold, and Terry Lin:1eke. Ramsey County is interested in <br /> obtaining a site on the Arsenal property and wishes to discuss joint use of <br /> the facilities. Probst indicated the DNR and nearby cities are also <br /> interested in obtainirg or usirg portions of the Arsenal site. <br /> '!he Commission agreed to meet at City Hall on February 10, 1993 at 7:00 pm. <br /> axJNC:IL REPC:'RT <br /> Counci1member Hicks reported on items of interest to the Commission. <br /> Hicks indicated a developer has approached council r~ development <br /> of the Gateway Business District.
