RAMSEY COUNTY, MXNNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTXON NO. 93-27 <br /> A RESOLUTXON ACCEPTXNG BXD AND AUTHORXZXNG <br /> EXECUTXON OF CONTRACT XN THE MATTER OF 1993 <br /> PAVEMENT MAXNTENANCE XMPROVEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 93-18, competitive bids were <br /> solicited and received for the 1993 Pavement <br /> Maintenance Improvement as set forth in the bid <br /> tabulation attached thereto and incorporated herein by <br /> this reference; and <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council has considered the amount of the bids <br /> and the responsibility of the bidders and determined <br /> that T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. , is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder; <br /> WHEREAS, the following list of contractors and their bids were <br /> received by the City of Arden Hills on April 6, 1993: <br /> T.A. Northwest Asphalt, Inc. 217,766.70 <br /> Bituminous Roadways, Inc. 228,794.10 <br /> Tower Asphalt, Inc. 229,503.90 <br /> GMH Asphalt, Inc. 236,249.80 <br /> Buch Blacktop, Inc. 243,927.95 <br /> Midwest Asphalt, Inc. 248,942.60 <br /> W.B. Miller, Inc. 258,401.20 <br /> Hardrives, Inc. 258,960.40 <br /> Ashbach Construction, Inc. 264,583.65 <br /> Driveway Design, Inc. 292,536.50 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE XT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City <br /> of Arden Hills, Minnesota: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized and <br /> directed to execute, on behalf of the City, such contract <br /> with T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. , as is approved by the City <br /> Attorney for the completion of the 1993 Pavement <br /> Maintenance Improvement according to the approved plans and <br /> specifications designated in Resolution 93-18. <br /> 2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to <br /> forthwith return to all bidders the deposits made with <br /> their bids upon execution of the contract above specified. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CXTY COUNCXL OF THE CXTY OF ARDEN <br /> .
