Page 3 <br /> Any attempt to assess all or pan of this upon the Bachman or Andersen property will <br /> be adamantly opposed. There is a serious question as to whether either of those properties <br /> would be benefited from the improvements in view of the fact that they already have sanitary <br /> sewer and water on their propenies. If the assessment process is unsuccessful, the City of <br /> Arden Hills could be stuck with the cost of paying tens of thousands of dollars out of its own <br /> general funds for an improvement that Mr. Warren Hanson could make on his own property. <br /> 5. My clients and the neighbors oppose the suggestion of further extending <br /> Shoreline Lane. <br /> My clients do not intend to subdivide their property at this time and instead want <br /> assurances of privacy and solitude in their neighborhood. We are told that other neighbors in <br /> the vicinity. likewise oppose the complete extension of Shoreline Lane as it would simply <br /> add traffic to the neighborhood, Because the City has insufficient information on the real <br /> impact whiCh the extension could have on the neighborhood. and in view of the fact that the <br /> neighborhood does not want it, the City should not amend the Transportation Plan showing <br /> the total connection of Shoreline Lane. <br /> ~ In conclusion, if Me.
