.
. 3. It is interesting to review the resolution attached (which was
passed by the Committee on Joint Property Tax Advisory Committee).
The County's part is 5.3% and City of st. Paul at 4.4% and the
reasons for the in=eases. The news article gives further
comments .
PUBLIC WCRKS
1. 'IWo Hour Parking Signs - Mounds View High School neighborhood
signs: In May, the Council agreed to install signage on Venus
Avenue limiting parking. The enclosed color coded map gives
additional information regarding the i.rnrnediate areas of the high
school per Council request. The first phase has already been
corrpleted (in blue), the second phase (next phase) in yellow, and
3rd (potential phase) in green. There is most certainly a varied
response to signs. A note would be added to each sign "during
school hours" so the limitations do not apply to summer and
holidays.
2. Water tower name/logo (See attachment). This option was provided
on the bids. The cost is $3,500 additional. Attached are two
options for Council consideration. Council input also requested
whether they have a strong preference for tower coloring,
inCluding tan, blue, etc. Color chips will be available Tuesday.
. Consideration has been given to a tan tower with green lettering,
to adhere to the coloring of the city logo.
3. Cormcil input is requested regarding the 5 year plan of potential
uses of the storm Water utility fund as suJ:xnitted. Additional
listing shows some of the snaller maintenance issues needing
attention. Your corranents regarding changes are welcome.
The Arden Place drainage issue comments are also suJ:xnitted for
review .
