Arden Place Drainage Improvement of 1993 - Due to the requirement of the <br /> two (2) week assessment notice, a Resolution #93-44 has been prepared <br /> showing 100% being assessed to the affected property owners. Per the <br /> assessment manual, the Council can decrease the amount to be assessed, <br /> but cannot increase the amount. <br /> INFClRMM'I0WIL ITEMS <br /> 1. Meredith Cable attachment - For your infonnation regarding legislative <br /> charqes and subscription changes. <br /> 2. 1993 Water purchases - Year-to-date is showing a 15.9% decrease over <br /> 1992 purchases. With the new "SUImner" rates, May through July is <br /> showing a 25.2% decrease over 1992 purchases, however the IOOnth of . <br /> August is showing a 6.5% decrease over the 1992 purchases. '!he result <br /> is that the revenues are keeping pace with the budgeted amount clue to <br /> the "SUmmer" rates. <br /> 3. In order to provide space for City Hall services, the use of the Cou."'1Cil <br /> Ch.ambers may be requested to accommodate work space. I am now <br /> approaching three (3) contractors to suhnit their estimates for two (2) <br /> closed offices and three (3) semi-private work areas in the Council <br /> Ch.ambers . The other =ent City Hall staff areas will remain as they <br /> are. TI:1e Accounting Department, the Administrator and the <br /> Administrative Secretary would move to the Council Chamber offices. I <br /> am investigating options for a future location to hold city Council <br /> meetings and Planning Conunission meetings. <br /> 4.
