The revised invesbnent policy for funds of a new City Hall is <br /> approved. <br /> b. The Council has =npleted a successful performance review of the <br /> Administrator. A pay increase to 100% of the 1993 pay scale is <br /> recormnended effective 10-1-93. <br /> c. The low bid received for the city Hall remodeling needs was <br /> Pleasant View Homes, Inc. This contractor should be approved by <br /> council. Three quotes were received from local contractors. They <br /> are Hass Construction (14,344), cirks Construction (15,142.33), <br /> and Pleasant View Hames, Inc. (12,436) . It is recormnended that <br /> the low bid of Pleasant view Homes - Merl lensing be accepted and <br /> . awarded. <br /> d. Attached is a resolution to document in writing the reasons and <br /> background for the Council moving its meetin;Js to the New Brighton <br /> City Hall chambers. <br /> 2. Flower Power Recognition - OUr summer volunteers are recognized for <br /> their assistance in planting and maintaining the flower beds during the <br /> spring and sumrner. This year's rains also helped to provide <br /> exceptionally beautiful gardens. <br /> 3. Planning Cases: See your October 6, 1993 planning packets and the <br /> October 6 planning minutes that have previously been provided to you. <br /> Also enclosed are mem:>s to update the Council on issues relating to <br /> these cases that have been presented to the staff this past week. <br /> 4. Anticipated November Plarming Cases: <br /> Presbyterian Homes - Continuation from October meeting <br /> Ryder Student Transportation - Continuation from October meeting <br /> James Hanton - Vacation of easement <br /> 5. The City has been fully re:i1nbursed by the state of Minnesota, Department <br /> of Transportation, $9,531.00 for engineering costs on the TH51 crossing. <br /> Personnel Items: <br /> 1. OUr Department SecretaJ:y, Jackie Knowlton and family are moving out of <br /> . state, back to their homeland. We will miss her and hope everything <br /> goes well. The vacancy is advertised. <br />
