<br />Arden Hills Council 3 January 10, 1994 <br /> <br />. MOTION: Hicks moved, seconded by Aplikowski to approve Resolution <br />#94-06, permitting a charitable gambling premises permit <br />to the 621 Foundation to conduct business at the Pot <br />o I Gold Bingo Hall, in Arden Hills. Motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />LIGHT BRIGADE <br />GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT APPLICATION <br /> <br />Ms. Person commented that the Light Brigade is requesting both <br />the renewal of their gambling premises permit for a Class A <br />premises permit at Pot O'Gold Bingo Hall in Arden Hills and <br />their gambling premises permit for a Class B premises permit <br />at Blue Fox, 3833 Lexington Avenue North, Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Mayor Sather noted that the Light Brigade organization is a <br />real pleasure to work with. They have made significant <br />contributions to this community which has allowed for many <br />items to be purchased for the community. This is the fifth <br />(5th) straight year that their trade spending dollars have <br />exceeded $200,000. <br /> <br />MOTION: Probst moved, seconded by Aplikowski to approve <br />Resolution #94-05, permitting a charitable gambling <br />premises permit to the Light Brigade to conduct business <br />. at the Pot 0' Gold Bingo Hall, in Arden Hills i and to <br />approve Resolution #94-07, permitting a charitable <br />gambling premises permit to the Light Brigade to conduct <br />business at the Blue Fox, 3833 Lexington Avenue North, <br />Arden Hills. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />CLIMB. INC. <br />GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT APPLICATION <br /> <br />Ms. Person commented that Climb, Inc. is requesting approval <br />of their gambling premises permit for a Class B premises <br />permit at Big Ten Supper Club, 4703 N. Highway 10, Arden <br />Hills. She further noted that the Shoreview Arden Hills Lions <br />Club had previously been approved to conduct business at this <br />location, however, their lease was not approved by the owner <br />of the Big Ten Supper Club. This organization will replace <br />the Shoreview Arden Hills Lions Club. <br /> <br />Ms. Person noted that Climb, Inc. will comply with 50% trade <br />spending by providing their services to the various schools in <br />the trade area. This is a non-profit organization and due to <br />the nature of the business, Climb reports its theatre <br />presentations as the basis for trade area spending. <br /> <br />Ms. Karen Wirkus representing Climb Inc. explained that this <br />. organization conducts plays pertaining to social issues such <br />as low self esteem, violence, handicaps, and various other <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />-----....- <br />
